[Solved] MS Exchange new account unable to receive External Mail
Gud day to all,
Mga sirs I have this problem on my Exchange Mail account, currently I created a new user email account on exchange but has a problem on receiving external mail eg. yahoo. Pero ung other old account nman working.
Nakakapag send nman ako externally and den nrereceive nila.
Nakakapag send and receive din ako on internal emails.
I check also the properties nung account meron po SMTP

Sir I am not familiar with exchange pero sir na check nyo po ba yung error ng sinend nyong mail I mean pag nag send kayo ng mail at hindi na receive ng recipient ang pag kaka alam ko may babalik na notification sayo at ibibigay yung error.
ng chek nko s yahoo and gmail wl nman reply error po upon sending to my company email.
Sir to isolate the problem, delete the new user and create again.
Duplicate the old user rights and settings.
Weird kasi. =)

bro ang problem mo dyan is yung config ng external mo baka may ip ka na mali kasi yung internal mails mo nakakapag send and receive ka eh ang hindi lang is yung external from yahoo try to recheck the confige back track bro... sometimes the hardest solution is the basic...

There's no need to re-configure or re-check the IP settings/routing of the Exchange Server since he ONLY create a new account. Take note that OLD account can still send/receive messages.
I doubt that there's a discrepancies on how the policies are implemented in your OU containers. Re-check your policies. Try Mike's advise create a new account and duplicate the rights of an existing and working account.

bali po ung old users and new user account eh nsa iisang OU lng, I try to copy the account na may working exchange mail, but negative parin po s external mail receipt.
Ang ginwa ko kc ser eh copy ko ung account n may working mail in the same OU lng po.
Ask ko lng pano ung atrributes non same din b? Kc nong exchange task nko ang option lng eh remove mail dun s replicate account, then prang ng setup uli ako ng mail, aun di parin maka receive.
Im using exchange task wizard s pag create ng account.
Try to create a new account at AD and not from the Exchange wizard. After that, change attributes at Exchange if necessary or needed.

Actually sir dko lng din magets eh, nung ng reset lng kami ng mga process s Symantec Mail security enable/disable then aun ok na sya.
So wl tlga ung prob s account, ok nman n sya ngaun
Salamat s mg masters ntin s pg isolate, tnx po s wlng sawa support.hehe
