Mga pare meron akong problema dito sa network namin, may dhcp server kmi running under windows 2003. We set a range of ip addresses from 192.168.1.10 to 192.168.1.254. The problem is we are picking up an ip of 192.168.1.5 and same gateway we are using. iT became a conflict with our oracle? pls help

You can set the IP range from 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.1.254 then create an Exclusion range 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.1.9
Check the DHCP server of the client who's getting the 192.168.1.5 IP. Make sure no PnP router connected in your network. If so disable the DHCP server of the PnP router.

Sir sa USER class sa DHCP pwede ka mag set ng ROUTER/DNS/WINS/etc..
Para naka set yung Gateway mo rin sa mga user na nakakakuha ng IP sa DHCP. _)

pasintabe lang po mga bro correct me if i'm wrong... in some cases or sometimes one of your workstation will still pick up the same ip even 192.168.1.5 is active. Even you had define the IP classes and the policy sa network kasi sa mga bagong pc or luma but aquired a new LAN cards and aquire an ip sa dhcp yun na ang kukunin nya kahit nakaset-up na yung dhcp sa network and the policy, what you can do is find this workstation (using tcp ip viewer or advance ip scanner to check which ws) and manually change the ip para di magconflict sa server mo and afterwards balik mo na ulit sa dhcp settings. Ito naman po eh kung ma-encounter pa din nya yung conflict. thanks.
